Next ebm-papst GreenDay to take place at Box Hill Institute

The next ebm-papst A&NZ GreenDay will take place in the morning of 26 February 2016 at Box Hill Institute’s Integrated Technology Hub in Melbourne. Consultants, facility managers, contractors, business owners, HVAC apprentices, and TAFE teachers and students are invited to attend this educational day.

Box Hill Institute’s Integrated Technology Hub

The organiser’s aim is to provide attendees with an update on current technical developments and future plans for developing sustainable, energy efficient and environmentally friendly HVAC and refrigeration solutions. Confirmed speakers include Evalin Ling, Sustainability Leader at AG Coombs, Dave Redden, Principal at Refrigeration Innovations and Sumit Oberoi, Executive Director at AMCA.

2016 marks the fifth year of the worldwide ebm-papst GreenDay, and the second instalment of an event that is open to HVAC&R industry professionals in Australia.Specialist speakers from industry and government will provide the latest news on energy efficiency for HVAC and refrigeration systems, upcoming changes in legislation and energy reduction solutions.

The morning will be split into sessions on legislation and policy as well as hands-on business cases to explore the challenges and strategies employed when completing energy saving projects.The morning will kick off with four speakers presenting newest changes and updates related to policy and regulation, followed by four speakers sharing business cases and success stories from their area of expertise.All Consultants, facility managers, contractors, building/business owners, HVAC apprentices, and TAFE teachers and students are invited to attend this educational day. Morning tea and light lunch will be provided.

The ultra-modern $41M Integrated Technology Hub (ITH) at Box Hill Institute provides collaborative and innovative learning spaces for the air conditioning, refrigeration, mechanical, plumbing and electrical technologies industries.It provides world-class facilities in a highly environmentally friendly building designed to achieve a 5 star green star accreditation.Designed in collaboration with the AMCA, the ITH is home to the Refrigeration and Climate Control Centre of Excellence (RCCC) in partnership with the Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors Association (AMCA) and the RCCC, it provides the main training facilities for the air-conditioning and allied industries.

GreenDay
The GreenDay is an international campaign of all global ebm-papst subsidiaries. Around 11,000 employees do their part for a greener future and demonstrate their everyday contributions to the environment.
