ebm-papst A&NZ are represented for the following projects and initiatives:

Best HVAC Retrofit or Upgrade Award - Riverside Centre Upgrade
This multimillion-dollar project showcases the successful collaboration between all parties involved in a building upgrade: building owner and manager (The GPT Group), consultant (Interior Engineering), contractor (Hiflow) and supplier (ebm-papst). Among other changes, the use of multiple, smaller size EC plug fans resulted in improved efficiency, increased redundancy in case of failure and a drastically simplified and more cost-effective logistics and installation process

Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award – One ebm-papst
ebm-papst A&NZ were selected as finalist for their One ebm-papst program, which aims to achieve unity and harmony across the workplace. As a result of visionary leadership across the last decade, the company now has the privilege of being an authentically diverse workplace, with representation from approximately 14 ethnicities, approximately 20% mature age workers, approximately 50% female employees, and a close relationship with university students and graduates through internships, often leading to full-time employment.

In a statement, AIRAH remarked that 2017 saw “an impressive array of nominations […] across the categories, which presented judges with the difficult task of picking the crème de la crème.” The AIRAH Awards are judged through independent peer assessment.

Award winners will be announced at a celebration evening held in Sydney on 2 November.
